Beer School Fundraiser
Beer education class that teaches one to recognize at least eight different “off” flavors* or flavor variants that may be found in beer using Sensory Kits developed by the Siebel Institute of Technology. Relax, have fun, and drink some beer with fellow beer nerds.

About the Event
Tactical Beer Tasting 101 ($30):
Syllabus
1. Explain the four principal components of beer and how they influence the
final flavor profile of a beer.
2. Learn the Hot Steep Malt Sensory Evaluation Method utilized by the
American Society of Brewing Chemists to examine extractable malt flavor
from at least four different varieties of malted barley.
3. Recognize at least eight different “off” flavors* or flavor variants that
may be found in beer using Sensory Kits developed by the Siebel Institute
of Technology. (the same beer school Adam attended)
4. Relax, have fun, and drink some beer with fellow beer nerds.
